“It seems as though every time we ask you to do any work, we have to pay for it.”

I got into an argument one time with some of my co-workers who criticized my personal morality because I told them that I didn’t believe in doing work without compensation. They said that “kids these days” can’t just do anything out of the goodness of their hearts, or for the good of the company, or to benefit their coworkers. As far as they’re concerned, sometimes you just have to show up for work on your day off to get work done without expecting to get paid.

I said fuck that. My time is valuable and personal validation doesn’t pay the bills.

About:

I prefer to be a little mysterious. I have a million blogs for other things but really the only value I see in Tumblr is being able to see things that maybe I've never seen before, and organize them in some way. As an artist I am constantly looking for inspiration in everything, as a means to inform my own work. So that's what this is here for. I "like" many things, and I reblog/post very little.

Having said all that, this blog is not for:
- Spilling my secrets.
- Talking shit about my coworkers/roommates/friends/lovers in a public forum (i.e. the internet) and expecting them not to find out.
- Whining.
- Memes.
- Pictures of cats. Unless they're artsy.

My personal blog is THE DROX!!!. Prepare for a lot of hockey talk.
